Thank You Summer Reading Sponsors!
The 2010 Summer Reading program was an amazing success thanks to the work of Library staff, volunteers, the Friends of the Santa Cruz Libraries, and scores of local businesses and nonprofits.
- 2737 children, teens, and adults recorded their reading over the summer
- over 24,000 hours of reading logged over 7 weeks
- 185 programs for all ages drew 6884 people to laugh, learn, and create
- 682 people attended the 2nd annual Battle of the Bands
Our list of partners and Library supporters is long and we thank each one of them. The next time you visit one of these establishments, please add your thank you for their participation. There simply would not be a summer reading program in our community without them.
