New Hours at All Branches Effective July 1, 2009
On July 1st, due to declining sales tax and property tax revenues, the Library will be cutting 20 additional staff positions (5 others were eliminated earlier), the supplies and services budget has been trimmed, the book and media budget cut, and the remaining staff will continue a 10% furlough, keeping all branches closed on Fridays. In all, $1,272,200 worth of cuts have been made for FY 2009-2010.
