A Library Card for Every Child in Santa Cruz County

The Santa Cruz Public Libraries has removed the age requirement for receiving a library card. A child of ANY age can now have a little blue card to check out books, movies, and recorded stories...yes, even toddlers! Plan on making a holiday visit to the Library soon to surprise the little one in your family.

The Central Branch Youth Services staff will gift wrap library cards during the holiday season. For a festive look for your child's first library card, visit the Central Branch Library at 224 Church Street in Santa Cruz by December 17, 2009.
