Salary: $40,000 per year
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interprets and enforces contracts.
• Files claims on behalf of members for non-compliance and follows through to resolution or arbitration.
• Participates with the Legal department in arbitration preparation and by giving testimony during proceedings.
• Sign companies to collective bargaining agreements, including negotiating and obtaining all proper chain-of-title and required financial assurance documents
• Answer contract questions, provide rulings and contract interpretation
• Research, investigate and file claims and follow through to resolution, including testifying at arbitrations as necessary
• Audit productions for contract compliance on an as needed basis
• Represent SAG-AFTRA through participation in various committees, workshops, seminars, panel discussions and speaking engagements in the industry. May also serve as a staff liaison to various SAG-AFTRA committees or other posts as may be assigned
• Various special projects and research, as assigned

• Must be available and willing to work extended hours (and/or overtime for applicable non- exempt positions) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs
• Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
Undergraduate degree in Business, Labor Relations or related discipline and 5 to 7 years applicable experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Legal knowledge/experience preferred due to the complexity of chain-of-title and financial assurances issues involved in the signatory process
