Payroll Accountant

National Local Labor Union seeks full time Payroll Accountant.

Major responsibility will be in house processing of a weekly multi-state payroll for 150+ employees. Other duties include payroll transmission, account reconciliations, journal entry preparation and special payroll reports. Proficiency requirements include payroll accounting software (Optimum Solutions, ADP or similar) and MS Excel. Education requirements include an associate degree in accounting or business admin with a minimum of 7 yrs multi-state payroll processing experience. A proficiency test will also be given but will accept a payroll certification in lieu of testing.
