Bilingual Union Representative – State of Wisconsin

Responsibilities:

Candidate must be Spanish/English speaking, be familiar with labor law and have some experience with labor unions.  This position requires responsibility for all matters related to collective bargaining including enforcement of collective bargaining agreements, ability to work out labor relations problems, process grievances and handle arbitrations, represent members in employment related issues and conduct member meetings.

This position requires a person with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.  Long, variable work schedules are required.  A valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle needed and travel within the State of Wisconsin is necessary.  Other requirements include strong listening, speaking and writing skills with the ability to understand and communicate complicated issues.  A talent for problem identification, resolution and computer literacy is required.
