Labor Relations Specialist

The Ohio Nurses Association (ONA) is seeking a Labor Relations Specialist to service, provide guidance and represent the collective bargaining members of ONA. Experience with labor relations a plus. Must have a current Ohio driver’s license, be willing to travel with overnight stays and able to work flexible hours.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Labor Relations
• Consultation to Staff and Members
• Communications
• Relationship Building

Desired Education/Experience:

Any combination of education and experience, which would likely produce the necessary knowledge and abilities, is qualifying.

• Master’s Degree in labor relations or related area of study preferred.
• Juris Doctor degree.
• Experience in labor relations preferred.
• Background or interest in nursing.
• If registered nurse, member of ONA or another SNA.
• Maintain eligibility for auto insurability through ONA’s carrier.
