Comic Books
The ancient Romans read comics. As early as the first century, tablets with comic inscriptions were sold in the marketplace in Rome.
The first comic book of the kind we know today was published in Connecticut in 1933. Entitled Funnies on Parade, it was sixteen pages long and in four colors.
