Bone music

At an early Neolithic site in Jiahu, China, archaeologists excavated what may be some of the world's oldest playable musical instruments. They found six complete bone flutes, and fragments of perhaps 30 others. Carbon-14 analysis by Chinese and American scientists has established that the flutes are between 7,000 and 9,000 years old.
