Stuffed Animal Sleepover at the Capitola Library: An Interview with Hank

Librarian Jenn:
Hi Hank! Are you looking forward to the stuffed animal sleepover at the Capitola Library?

Hank:

Librarian Jenn:
I assume that’s a yes?

Hank:
Yes, I’m thrilled to participate!

Librarian Jenn:
Could you tell me a little about yourself?

Hank:
I’m the La Selva Beach library’s mascot. I heard about the sleepover at Capitola, where I used to live! I asked if I could chaperone another sleepover because the last one was such fun!

Librarian Jenn:
That’s great! Do you have any specific plans for the sleepover?

Hank:
I’d like to do some drawing, play games on the computers, read some stories to the other critters, and maybe play some hide-and seek. Most of all, I’m planning for us all to have fun!

Librarian Jenn:
We had a really energetic group of stuffed animals come to our Aptos sleepover. Who do you think will be coming to Capitola?

Hank:
I have no idea except I do know that George will be coming to co-chaperone. I haven’t seen him for a while so I look forward to catching up with him.

Librarian Jenn:
Do you have any favorite books that you plan to read to your new friends?

Hank:
Well, let’s see… I adore There’s a Bird on your Head by Mo Willems and I love the bedtime story The Book of Sleep by Il sung Na. I also really love Library Lion by Michele Knudsen and Bats at the Library by Brian Lies. And I have more planned but I don’t want to give them away!

Librarian Jenn:

Hank:
You are very welcome! I look forward to seeing everyone at the Capitola library on Wednesday, June 13th at 5:15pm! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof
