I take that as a yes?
George:
Yes, I can’t wait! I look forward to seeing other animals and having some fun!
Librarian Jenn:
What is your role in the sleepover?
George:
I’m the chaperone. I’ll be there to make sure that nobody gets into trouble and to be sure we all have fun!
Librarian Jenn:
Who do you think is going to come?
George:
I don’t really know. I’ve heard that there might be a frog and a chicken though. Oh, I just remembered, I hear there might be a polar bear coming! I just can’t wait to see all my new friends!
Librarian Jenn:
Do you have specific things you plan to do?
George:
I want to read some stories to my friends, play some video games, check out some books, and maybe watch a movie too.
Librarian Jenn:
What stories do you plan to read?
George:
Some of my favorites are: Diary of a Wombat by Jackie French, Toad by Ruth Brown, Harry the Dirty Dog by Gene Zion, and of course my book Bark, George by Jules Feiffer.
Librarian Jenn:
What movies do you plan to watch?
George:
One of my all time favorites is Babe. I also LOVE Toy Story.
Librarian Jenn:
Well, it’s been great talking to you! Thank you for your time. I know you’ve got a storytime to get too, so I’ll let you go!
George:
Thank you! I look forward to seeing everyone at the Scotts Valley library this Thursday at 5:30pm! I’d better go! Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf!
