Librarian Jenn: Could you tell me a little about yourself?
Hank: I’m the Capitola library’s Tales to Tails mascot. I heard about the sleepover at Aptos and asked if I could chaperone. I also really, really, really want to take some pictures!
Librarian Jenn: That’s great! Do you have any specific plans for the sleepover?
Hank: I’d like to do some drawing, play games on the computers, read some stories to the other critters, and maybe play some hide-and seek. Most of all, I’m planning for us all to have fun!
Librarian Jenn: We had a really energetic group of stuffed animals come to our Scotts Valley sleepover. Who do you think will
be coming to Aptos?
Hank: I have no idea except I do know that George will be coming to co-chaperone. I haven’t seen him for a while so I look forward to catching up with him.
Librarian Jenn: Do you have any favorite books that you plan to read to your new friends?
Hank: Well, let’s see… I adore There’s a Bird on your Head by Mo Willems and I love the bedtime story The Book of Sleep by Il sung Na. I also really love Library Lion by Michele Knudsen and Kitten’s First Full Moon by Kevin Henkes. And I have more planned but I don’t want to give them away!
Librarian Jenn: It has been really fun talking to you Hank! Thank you so much for talking with me!
Hank: You are very welcome! I look forward to seeing everyone at the Aptos library on Wednesday, December 28th at 6pm! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof!
