Romance of the Redwoods: Scene from Film (with Mary Pickford)

This photograph was taken by Preston Sawyer during the filming of "Romance of the Redwoods" in 1917. Mary Pickford is at the stagecoach door. The locale is the Ben Lomond area.

"The company in which Mary Pickford is starring is her own and she has engaged Cecil DeMille of the Laskeys to direct it. The company as yet is not permanently located."
