"KINGDOM WITHIN," FILMED IN SANTA CRUZ, TO BE SHOWN
Many Santa Cruzans will await with interest the showing on Sunday and Monday at the New Santa Cruz Theater, of "The Kingdom Within," a Schertzinger production.
Many exterior scenes for this photoplay were filmed in the vicinity of Santa Cruz, at San Vicente Mill, at Felton and in the Big Basin. Scenes were also made at the Big Trees.
The movie company, under the leadership of Director Victor Schertzinger, was here just a year ago. Principal roles are in the hands of Pauline Stark, Gaston Glass, Ernest Torrence and Russell Simpson. Hallam Cooley, Russ Powell, Z. Wall Covington, and the splendid child actor, Marion Feducha, have important parts.
Critics hail "The Kingdom Within," as an unusual and worthwhile photoplay.
