Santa Cruz Surf (October 8, 1916)

DIED: LOCK-- In Santa Cruz, Oct. 7th HL Lock, aged 69 years and 14 days a native of New York. Funeral from Pacific Coast undertaking parlors, Tuesday, Oct. 10th, at 2 P.M. Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend. Interment at I.O.O.F. Cemetery

Death of HL Locke

HL Locke, an old soldier and well known resident died Saturday night in his home. He followed gardening and was much about the city and became acquainted with many people. He was a veteran of the civil war and one time member of the Christian Church. He was a native of New York and 69 years old.
