DIED: Edwards, East Santa Cruz Dec 24, 1898 Daniel Edwards a native of Sweden aged 68 years.

Wallace-Reynolds post will assemble at Masonic Hall Monday Dec 26 at 1:30 PM to attend the funeral of our late comrade Daniel Edwards. All old soldiers are respectfully invited to attend. Philip Hynes Post Commander.

A Military Funeral
The funeral of Daniel Edwards was held yesterday afternoon from Wessendorf and Stafflers Undertaking Parlors under the auspices of the Wallace Reynolds Post G.A.R., Rev P.R. Adams officiating. The interment was at the Odd Fellows Cemetery. A firing squad fired a salute over the grave.
