William R. Cushing of East Santa Cruz succumbed to the ravages of tuberculosis recently in little Manila, as we call the new consumptive ward recently completed and brought into use as a part of the Home, but a separate institution complete in its self having, cook, nurse, dining room and waiters of its own. Cushing was a long enduring patient sufferer and passed in peace surrounded by home friends.
