Old Soldiers: Santa Cruz County Civil War Veterans

IOOF Cemetery in Santa Cruz
DIED: BAILEY- In Santa Cruz August 4, Chas. B. Bailey, native of Ohio, aged 90 years 8 months. The funeral of deceased will take place from the Wessendorf mortuary today at 10 o'clock a.m. Friends and acquaintances of the deceased are invited to be present. Interment at I.O.O.F. cemetery.
Lived to Age 90
Charles B. Bailey, who lived almost to the age of 91 died yesterday at his cottage at 139 Bethany Circle, Garfield Park, where he lived alone. He was born in Ohio and many years of his life were spent in California, and death was from advanced age. Mr. Bailey was an old soldier, a veteran of the Civil War and had never married. The body is at Wessendorf's mortuary.
