Larken Valley Resident Died Today
Amos Vanderpool, a resident of the Larkin valley section, for the past two and a half years, passed away this morning, after a lingering illness of several months, aged 82 years 7 months and 29 days.
Deceased came here from Michigan and having purchased what was formerly known as the Ireland ranch, in Larkin valley, has lived a quiet retired life farming. He was a veteran of the civil war, and a man highly esteemed by all who knew him.
Besides his wife [May] he leaves one son, George Vanderpool.
The funeral will take place on next Monday morning [June 6, 1921], at ten o'clock from the family residence, Larkin valley. Interment at Odd Fellows' cemetery.
