Michael Warren Lecture on the Plays of Shakespeare

Dr. Warren will provide an introduction and background to Shakespeare’s plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Julius Caesar. Both of these plays are being performed this summer by Shakespeare Santa Cruz.

Salsa Rueda Santa Cruz

Members of the Salsa Rueda Santa Cruz team will demonstrate and provide a free lesson. Salsa Rueda is a unique Cuban Dance style in a dynamic circle to the rhythmic of Caribbean Salsa music. Spend an afternoon learning this fun and healthy dance with its happy music and the wonderful community around it. Learn more about this group at www.cruzy.org

Found Art/Collage Workshop

As part of the Summer Reading Program for Adults, "Be Creative @ Your Library," we will create collages. Collage artist T. Mike Walker will facilitate this workshop. Basic materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own found items or materials.
