SCPL's Summer Reading Program is here, for kids and adults! This year's theme is Be Creative @ Your Library, and will be full of interesting and fun activities and events, starting June 8th and continuing to July 30th.

Flute Making (1:00 PM-4:00 PM)
Location: Central Branch
Shelley Phillips will introduce library users to the craft of making flutes out of bamboo. Tools and homegrown bamboo are provided, but you may bring your own awls and files if you wish. All ages are invited, making this a fun, family event. This is part of the Summer Reading Program for Adults - Be Creative @ Your Library.

Play with Clay: A workshop with Jenni Ward (6:30 PM-8:00 PM)
Location: Aptos Branch
Artist Jenni Ward, who does garden sculpture, will teach some clay techniques. This workshop lets you "find your inner sculptor." Come play with clay.
