La Selva Beach Chapter of the Friends of the Library (3:00 PM-4:00 PM)
Location: Boardroom of the La Selva Beach Clubhouse - 314 Estrella Ave. La Selva Beach
The La Selva Beach Chapter of the FSCPL meets at 3:00 on the first Monday of each month. Meetings are held in the boardroom of the La Selva Beach Clubhouse. if you are interested in: fund raising, volunteering, or helping to restore library programming and hours for the La Selva Beach Library, then please consider joining us.

Advisory Council of Teens (ACT) (3:00 PM-5:00 PM)
Location: Central Branch
The ACT is a group of young adults, ages 12 to 18, who are interested in the library's service to Santa Cruz county teens. ACT members advise library staff on collection and programming needs. ACT meets the 2nd Sunday of the month. For more information contact Sandi @ 831.420.5665.

Bliss Salon Fund Raiser (10:00 AM-5:00 PM)
Location: 9051 Soquel Drive Aptos CA
Bliss Salon presents a Fund Raiser for the Santa Cruz Public Libraries. All spa services will be complimentary with a donation to the Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Library Book and Media fund. 100% of the proceeds will buy materials for the library. Call 831-662-1300 for an appointment.

Wonderful, amazingly popular concert series presents William Hurlstone, Béla Kovács, Robert Schumann Michael A. Kimbell, clarinet and Elizabeth Lee, piano Meeting in Central's upstairs meeting room. Come early so you can get a seat!

Friends of the Library Huge Civic Auditorium Book Sale! (5:30 PM-8:00 PM)
Location: Civic Auditorium, 307 Church St
This is the 30th ANNIVERSARY of this incredible book sale: Nov 20-21. Friday is Friends of the Library MEMBERS night. Members get the best books of the sale. Join at the door $15 to $40. This is absolutely the best 2-day book sale on the Monterey Bay About 30,000 gently used books and other media will be sold for prices $1.50/lb or $5/bag during our final day "Bay Sale." These are unbeatable and the selection is amazing.

Location: Civic Auditorium, 307 Church St
The best book sale on the Monterey Bay is coming November 20 & 21st to the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium. About 30,000 gently used books and other media will be sold for prices $1.50/lb. These are unbeatable and the selection is amazing. Free Public Hours: Saturday: 10 am - 1 pm and books are $1.50/lb;
