Like an unexpected spring flower, a journaling class has appeared at the Downtown branch. Andrew Drinnan, a library volunteer, teaches a journaling class every Tuesday, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the first floor conference room at the Downtown branch. "Keeping a journal can be a self-empowering and motivating expressive outlet. Journaling can be a tool for self-awareness. This class/group will share the power of keeping a journal with advice, tips, and motivations to get the most out of yours," says volunteer teacher Andrew Drinnan.

Join us for a reception honoring gifted and inspiring young artist Nina Lutz. Nina is a high-school senior and cancer survivor who worked on this delightful picture book while undergoing treatment. There will be refreshments, crafts for kids, and copies of Fashion Animal ABC’s for sale. Join us!
