Learn to knit or bring your knitting and enjoy a friendly visit with other knitters. If you are new to knitting, please bring: needles (size 8 10" straight needles or a 24" circular needle) and one skein of worsted weight yarn in your favorite color. Ages 8-108

Children's Chess Instruction (2:00 PM-4:00 PM)
Location: Central Branch
All levels, including beginners are invited to attend. Students who have never played chess are asked to contact Gjon before joining the class. Please e-mail Gjon at coach@santacruzpl.com or call 425-7835 for more information. 2-2:45 ages 8 years and younger 3-4pm ages 9-18 years

Advisory Council of Teens (ACT) (3:00 PM-5:00 PM)
Location: Central Branch
The ACT is a group of young adults, ages 12 to 18, who are interested in the library's service to Santa Cruz county teens. ACT members advise library staff on collection and programming needs. ACT meets the 2nd Sunday of the month. For more information contact Sandi @ 831.420.5665.
