Magic with the Recycling Wizard (11:00 AM-12:30 PM)
Location: Garfield Park Branch
Magic, Mystery, and Fun for all ages as Brent Gifford (The Great Blindini) performs an amazing magic show featuring recycled and reclaimed materials. Then he will teach you simple tricks that you can do right away, There will be some fun stunts with simple props,this will be great fun for the entire family.

Flute Making (1:00 PM-4:00 PM)
Location: Central Branch
Shelley Phillips will introduce library users to the craft of making flutes out of bamboo. Tools and homegrown bamboo are provided, but you may bring your own awls and files if you wish. All ages are invited, making this a fun, family event. This is part of the Summer Reading Program for Adults - Be Creative @ Your Library.

Family Night - LSB Summer Reading (6:00 PM-7:00 PM)
Location: La Selva Beach Branch
Bring the whole family for fun summer nights in La Selva Beach. Activities will include: Bookmaking, Rocket Launchers, Making Rubber Band Cars, and Italian Street Art. For Family Night, feel free to bring along a picnic dinner and a blanket to join us outside on the back lawn.

Book Swap (1:00 PM-4:00 PM)
Location: Scotts Valley Branch
Attention, kids and teens! Bring a gently used book (or a few gently used books) to the Scotts Valley Library on Saturday, June 20th from 1-4 p.m. We'll give you a ticket for each book you bring in. Then you exchange each ticket for another gently used book of your choice. Think of it as helping the earth by recycling your books, clearing some of the clutter from your room and giving yourself and others a free way to read. Read on!

San Lorenzo Valley Community Band (5:00 PM-6:00 PM)
Location: Boulder Creek Branch
The San Lorenzo Valley band is a volunteer organization. All of the donations we receive at concerts go directly to the San Lorenzo Valley Middle School and High School Band programs. Our members come from a wide cross section of Santa Cruz County. Most of us live in either Scotts Valley or the San Lorenzo Valley communities of Felton, Ben Lomond, Mt. Hermon, and Boulder Creek. Join us for an evening of music.
