Memoir Writing Workshop: Session 4 Sharing Family Stories (10:15 AM-11:45 AM)
Location: La Selva Beach Branch
This Writing our Stories workshop will focus on weaving personal history with the craft of writing. Gail Burk of the Santa Cruz Genealogical Society will lead these workshops. Genealogy Lecture - How to Find Your Family History Using Newspapers (1:00 PM-3:00 PM)
Location: Downtown Branch
Santa Cruz Genealogy Society offers monthly lectures in the Downtown Branch on the first Thursday of each month from 1-3pm. The November 1st lecture is from Lisa Louise Cooke. Her topic is "How to Find Your Family History Using Newspapers."

We'll also be making greeting cards and putting together bags for women in a shelter.
