Like an unexpected spring flower, a journaling class has appeared at the Downtown branch. Andrew Drinnan, a library volunteer, teaches a journaling class every Tuesday, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the first floor conference room at the Downtown branch. "Keeping a journal can be a self-empowering and motivating expressive outlet. Journaling can be a tool for self-awareness. This class/group will share the power of keeping a journal with advice, tips, and motivations to get the most out of yours," says volunteer teacher Andrew Drinnan.

To grow support for our libraries' tutoring program, Poet Laureate David Swanger invites you to an after-hours mixer at the Branciforte Library: Wine in the Stacks.
A small grant provides funding for tutors at 7 of our library branches. We need your donations to keep the libraries open, lit, staffed and supplied for students needing our tutors' help. You'll give future students a place to keep the conversation going. Minimum donation requested: $15 in advance; $20 at the door.

Andrew Drinnan, a library volunteer, teaches a journaling class every Tuesday, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the first floor conference room at the Downtown branch. "Keeping a journal can be a self-empowering and motivating expressive outlet. Journaling can be a tool for self-awareness. This class/group will share the power of keeping a journal with advice, tips, and motivations to get the most out of yours," says volunteer teacher Andrew Drinnan.
