Memoir Writing Workshop: Session 4 Sharing Family Stories (10:15 AM-11:45 AM)

This Writing our Stories workshop will focus on weaving personal history with the craft of writing. Gail Burk of the Santa Cruz Genealogical Society will lead these workshops. Genealogy Lecture - How to Find Your Family History Using Newspapers (1:00 PM-3:00 PM)

The training will cover the Four Essentials anyone, particularly anyone new to ReferenceUSA, would want to know in order to be successful using the resource. This is also a great opportunity for current users to learn some new tips, tricks and techniques. Lots of time will be reserved at the end of the session for questions. Book Sale at the Holiday Art, Antique, & Craft Faire (10:00 AM-4:00 PM)
Location: La Selva Beach Branch
The Friends of the La Selva Beach Public Library will have its semi-annual book sale during the La Selva Beach Arts and Crafts Faire. The Book Sale will be located in the Boardroom of the Clubhouse (where it is cozy and warm) rather than the courtyard. Do you have books to donate? Please bring them by the branch, or bring them by the Boardroom on Friday, November 16th where we will be sorting and getting books organized. Or if you are unable to deliver them, please feel free to call Cindy Jackson at 662-2374 for a pick up! You may also drop off the donation at the La Selva Beach Public Library during open hours. Please come on November 17th and check out the Book Sale while you enjoy the Holiday Art, Antique and Craft Faire.
