    The California Gold Rush (1848-1855) began on January 24, 1848. The news of the gold brought some 300,000 people to California from the rest of the United States and abroad. Learn about several records and resources available that can help you research your California ancestors. This presentation will cover repositories throughout California, important record types, migration routes, cemetery records, beneficial websites, and more. The focus will be Northern California through Monterey Counties and parts of Sacramento.

Soothing and sustaining, water is the world’s most crucial commodity and essential to life as we know it. Water, Life brings to light the current water crisis and showcases the beauty of water.
    Show participants include Jerry Clarke, Marc Shargel, David Sievert, Paul Topp, Dan Asturias, Michael Mote, Mary Hopf, Russell Brutsche, Shane Mann, Save Our Shores and the Surfrider Foundation.
