Word Processing & Computers - Santa Cruz County

Free for General Use:

Santa Cruz Public Libraries offer internet access and word processing at various branches; see the Library Services page for more information.

The Computer Lab at the Watsonville Public Library has computers available for public use during library open hours. The computers at the Watsonville library and at the Freedom branch provide Internet access and several feature word processing. You must have a Watsonville library card to use any of these computers. Contact the library for hours, availability or further information.

Free for Legal Documents:

The Santa Cruz County Law Library: 701 Ocean St., Room 070, Santa Cruz, 420-2205, has a word processor available to the public at no charge. The cost to print is 15¢ per page. It is for the preparation of legal documents only. There are no reservations. The Library is open M-Th 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Free for Employment-related Documents:

Workforce Santa Cruz County, a service of the Human Resources Agency of Santa Cruz County, has two locations that provide computer labs for employment-related needs, e.g., resume preparation, job applications, etc. The labs are located at: 2045 40th Ave., Capitola, 464-6286; 18 West Beach St., Watsonville, 763-8700. You may call the labs for hours and more information.
